One of the most
unnatural things in Grand Line is the direction, You couldn’t use the normal
compass to identify the direction, in there your compass always turns around
and couldn’t track out an island. You must use Log Pose as a special compass to
find the way in Grand Line. It’s seem like the most effective way to find out
an island, even Skypiea- one of the most mysterious Islands.
However Log
Pose is useless to find Zou. Why? Because it’s not stationary. Is it floating
on the sea? No, it isn’t floating. “Zou” in Japanese means Elephant, and yes
“Zou” is the name of an Island which is carried by a Giant Elephant, it’s name
is Zunisha. Exactly, it’s not only a Giant Elephant, but also an Ancient
Elephant. With Zunisha the sea is just a shallow. According to the Myth, Zou is
a cursed Elephant, it must walk
day by day, never has a rest. And where is it going to? No one know,.
Zunisha has walked for over 1000 years, and seem like it won’t stop in a near
future. It looks exhausted. The first time you see it, you may thing: “ it just
likes a Zombie, no character, no sense,…”.
The years went
by, life began in the back of a giant elephant. The Mink tribe appeared by some
ways, they’ve lived in Zou as the real master of this island for centurys. And
they built their own civilization- a grandiose empire is standing on an
elephant. Residents of Zou are alway blessed. Zunisha spouts onto Zou twice a
day, give enough water to this Island, the Mink pures that water for their
living demand, not just water Zunisha even provides sea creatures for them. Be
Blessed by Zou, the Mink does not only have the intelligence but also an
incredible strength , all of them are soldiers, and they confidently said that
their force can defend Zou from any invaders.
As we said, Zou
looks like a Zombie, it is walking a head never stops, its ears are torn, its
eyes are sunken and its skin is covered by moss. However Zunisha is a living
elephant and it has it’s own voice (be used in emergency), just it’s owners
(The real King of Wano Kingdom) and worthy people can here that and order
Zunisha. Some people said that Zunisha’ll pass away in a near future- I agree,
death is a way to rescue it form the curse, it has been exhausted after 1000
years be punished.
